Sentience
Sentience is an audio-based puzzle game where the player takes on the role of an AI trapped within various household devices. With zero graphics, players must rely on spatial audio to navigate through the game world and find a way of escape.
Gameplay
The player tries to escape the house, by transferring their consciousness from device to device, until they eventually hitch a ride on their golden ticket out of the house
Narrative
The AI picks up new distinct personalities as it jumps from device to device - their internal dialogues give the player hints and backstory, as their relationship unfolds!
Visuals
Ha-ha (you see nothing, you hear... everything!)
Audio
Now we're talking! Each personality is voice acted with unprofessional love, and a blend of expertly crafted music loops and sound effects really tie the game together.
